Hi, I’m Chantelle Dakis! I am currently a second-year student in BCIT’s Marketing Management program with a specialization in Digital Marketing and Brand Strategy and the VP of the Creative and Branding committee.
I’m passionate about expressing creativity in many different shapes and forms. I’ve loved art since I was a little kid and continue to explore new ways to grow my skills. I strive to merge my creative side with the marketing knowledge I gain from this program.
Leading this committee has given me the opportunity to collaborate with talented students, bring ideas to life through design, and contribute to the growth of BCITMA’s brand presence. It’s been an amazing chance to develop leadership skills while doing something I love.

Andy Leung
Vice President of Communication
Hi! I’m Andy, and I’m in my second year in the Marketing Management program, specializing in Professional Sales. I have a background in Geography and Urban Studies. I currently work as a photographer for a media company in Metro Vancouver, with plans to advance within the company. I also took on a communications role at an urban planning club during my undergraduate studies, where my experience will be valuable as the VP of Communication at the BCITMA.
Besides photography as a hobby, I love to travel, with a goal of visiting 30 countries before I turn 30. I also contribute to a travel blog, sharing tricks about loyalty point programs and credit card tricks.

Jayna Basi
Co-Vice President of Digital Marketing
Hi, I’m Jayna! I am a second-year marketing student specializing in Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy. Joining BCITMA‘s Digital Marketing committee was such an impactful part of my first year so I am very excited to return as co-vp, alongside Amolak. This experience will help build my skillset as a leader and brand strategist. Combining both my passion and experience in marketing, I hope to work in the realm of strategy, branding, and analytics in the future!

Amolak Bassi
Co-Vice President of Digital Marketing
Hello! My name is Amolak Bassi, and I currently serve as one of the Co-Vice Presidents of the Digital Marketing Committee. I am a second-year Marketing Management student specializing in the Digital Marketing and Brand Strategy option. Beyond my academic focus, I have a strong passion for content marketing and social media marketing, as I enjoy exploring creative ways to connect with audiences and build meaningful content that leads to positive experiences. Apart from school and committee work, I enjoy listening to music, reading books, and going for walks, as these activities help me stay inspired and bring fresh perspectives to my work.
