Hey, my name is Airam (eye-rum)
The majority of people get the wrong idea of who I am before they get to know me, but I wouldn't have it any other way. From almost not graduating high school to becoming the Co-VP of Consulting, it’s clear that my journey was as unconventional as it could possibly be. Through my experiences, I’ve learned the importance of embracing one's past and being unapologetic within your own identity.
Alongside balancing seven courses and leading the consulting team, I also play American football for the Langley Rams of the CJFL. Dealing with hardships and stress management have become my expertise, I comfortably find peace before, during, and after the storm. I believe this is what makes me a valuable leader. I absolutely love learning about other people’s life experiences and how it shaped them to become who they are now. Hi! I’m Jia. I am a second-year student in the Marketing Management program, Digital Marketing option. And I am Co-VP of the BCITMA Consulting Team.
Back in my home country, I studied Fine Art with a focus on sculpture, but I wanted to expand into the business world to combine creativity with strategic thinking. I chose the Digital Marketing option because it allows me to apply academic knowledge to real-world situations, offering practical opportunities to grow.
As Co-VP of the Consulting Team, I focus on building a strong, manageable team structure and system. As an international student, every day presents new challenges, but when I look back on what I’ve accomplished, I feel proud of myself and deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey.
