  • How can I join the BCITMA?

    You can become a member of the BCITMA by filling out this form and sending it by email to our VP of Membership at membership@bcitma.ca.

  • What positions are there in the BCITMA?

    While we have our VP’s, every committee can have First-Year and Second-Year Directors, meaning they will take on more of a leadership role in the committee and train to potentially become the following year’s VP.

  • Can I join more than one committee?

    Yes! You can get in touch with the VPs of any committee and request to join and help out, whether as a General Member or a Director position.

  • Is there a main BCITMA group chat?

    As of now, there is no main group chat that collectively holds all the members of the MA. However, each committee has their own group chat and way of communication, so whatever platform used to communicate is dependent on the VP of that committee.

  • Why is the BCITMA membership cost $60?

    By becoming a member of the BCITMA, you are also becoming a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) in which you will gain access to all their resources, and receive regular newsletters with industry events and workshops. You can find all the benefits of becoming an AMA member here.
